Day 4 : The Tropical Wildlife zoo

Day 4, The tropical wildlife zoo. I wasnt as excited as i thought when i heard that we were going to the zoo.  I guess these so many zoos all over the NSW, the south of Australia and i've  been to many of them and they all seen to be same or maybe a bit different but they both have wild lifes for sure, not that i dont like wild life. In fact  love the wildlifes. Today was about having fun and enjoying our time in Cairns, so i guess i'll look forward to it.

The first look of the tropical zoo in cairns was ten times better than the zoos in Nsw. I was excited about this Now!
Welcome to the Tropical Wildlifes in Cairns

There was so much more interesting wildlifes and marine lifes here in Cairns which makes it way much better than the ones back home. Thats only my oppinion. There had cars, well they look more like war cars that can go in the water. We them driving us around the flora and we got every details of each flora and some of them dont exist anymore. IT was a very interesting thing. The experience ookeepers drove us into about a meter deep water through out half of the trip and it was quite scary but interesting at times, thinking what will happen if it broke down in the middle of it But all the wishful thinkings. There was some facinating animals like the  the inland taipan which can kill 250,000 lab mice or 60 adults in one teaspoon of venom, the exotic and endangered species of Red Panda, You can cuddle a Koala or for the more adventurous get wrapped up with a massive Boa Constrictor. Yep, i know its exciting, i do wish i can go again.

         The red Panda

I had such a wonderful day. I think this is one of the best wildlife
zoo i've been so far. We all had a fantastic time spoting out different animals. We saw some interesting and disgusting inserts like the 2cm long ants climbing all other the pole, you could feel the goosepumbs all other you. I Coulldn't spent a better day than at the Tropical wildlife zoo in cairns. Dont foret the Red Pandas if you ever go there!

Day 3 : The Fishing Trip

Day 3 of discovery, out on the boat for a fishing trip. Since mostly our family love going fishing we have booked a boat and a driver that can take us out, as we didn't really know where we were going. My cousin and I were very excited about this, we usually dont go fishing very offident, which makes us more excited. Also Spending the whole day siting there trying to catch a fish sounds more relaxing nd fun than writing an essay for english. My aim for today was to catch at least 4 fish or more if im luck enough. Well i was putting my hopes up at that time. The boat started to move and the excitement started to rise.

The fishing boat. Not a fansy one

We got all our fishing gear ready and started to put our fishing rode in the water. After 5 minutes I could feel a little nibble and i could feel the rode moving. There, thats when i caught my first fish of the day. Thats right i yelled out to everyone. I got so excited but the fish was only a little one, didnt know what type of fish it was. After awhile everyone started to catch st least 1 or 2 fishs and some caught more. In the end i think i caught the least amount. i didnt really care at the time until my cousin started to teas me.

We  all had a fantastic day at in the river and we all enjoyed ourselves and thats all it matters. I had my first experience of eating roar fish, i actually didnt really mind it and so did my cousins. Altogether the amount of fish we caught was worth 3 days of dinner. We all new that night what we were going to have for dinner 'Fish,' yeah not really my favourite. We also caught two crabs and we ate them on the boat. No we didnt eat roar crabs they had equiptments for us to cook it there! After all we enjoyed it and the beautiful views in cairns just makes the day much brighter.

Day 2 : The Great Barrier Reef

Second day of adventure, woke up with excitement after a rest from last night. The weather was quite warm in Cairns, which gies us the perfect chance to discover the beauty of The Great Barrier Reef. The weather was quite good for a snorkel at the reef. First to get to the reef we had to go onto a fascinating cruise with many levels. It was quite a long trip to get there as some of us got sea sick. luckily I'm good with boats and I don't get sea sick. As the time gone by I was enjoying myself at on the deck and looking at the beautiful creation and the fresh air that you get in the middle of the ocean.

The place where we stopped in the middle of the ocean

The cruise
When we finally got there the water was sparkling clear like iridescent blue diamond. We could see the marine life under the boat. The giant turtles and jelly fish you could see as clear as anything. It was beautiful. We stopped and got ready in our wetsuits and was so keen to get in the  water, the water was quite warm. As we got into the water that is where it all begins.
Where the adventure begins at the Great Barrier Reef

First, A ladie name Sarah toured us around the reef and explained details about the reef for about half an hour. She showed us some of the most beautiful things that you can found in Austraia. After that we had free time to swim around and discover things ourselfs. We saw so many giant fishes and other marine life. First I was scared of sharks been there but after that there was a massive bunch of jellyfish around us. Other than my fear of jellyfish i had so much fun. This was a once in a life time adventure and i have seen so many beautiful things. I had such a amaing day and saw many marine life under the ocean that i've never seen before.

Day 1: First Destination

Finally we are at the Sydney airport, after 3 hours drive heading north from a little town call Nowra. Many excitement was all happening at the airport with my cousin. while we were waiting for the entry to the plane we were so keen to get some caffeine from Gloria jeans to spice our craziness up. An hour of waiting we have enter the plane, the feeling and the smell of a plane is not a daily smell you get as it was clean and tide. I wont say Jet star is the safest plane to catch but it was quite smooth, a little noisier but that's me complaining to my cousin as what girls always do. Three hours of plane and three hours of whinging we are finally here in the Cairns airport.
The destination we are heading to.

We have arive at the Sydney Airport

Yep it was a surprise, the weather was boiling hot, check the temperature out and it was 35 degree Celsius. After finding a taxi to get to our next destination, the apartment was quite easy as it was the airport filled with many tourist. Our apartment wasn't very far, about 30 minutes away. WOW my first impression and the first word that came out of my mouth as the apartment was spectacular. It was like my dream home to live. There was an indoor and outdoor pool with an amazingly big gym the overview of the ocean and we were luckily on the top of a 21 level building.

After 3 hours of sitting on a plane we have finally arived in Cairns

Our appartments were surroundded by many shops. We went and had a look after we sorted everything up in the apartment and getting confitable in it. We had to get grocioury for dinner. We walked around and descide to get movie that we were all intereted in watching, ' The pirates of the caribean.'A movie that we all loved and especially me. We watched the movie while we had dinner and after we were all tired from a big day today and the day ahead. So we all said Goodnight.
